Nighttime Eating

QUESTION:

Hi Del.  Do you have any good scripts for nighttime eating? This is a big challenge both in my nutritional practice and hypnosis practice and I have my own issues around it. Thanks!

ANSWER:

Go to my web site’s e-store and take a look at either the Table of Contents of the specialty book on Weight Management, or check the list of single scripts under “Weight Control”, to see if you can find anything that might be helpful.  The first thing I usually do is to use a problem-solve script of some kind, to seek out the imprints that are causing the night eating, and to change them to something more helpful in this time, now. I’m quite sure it is in the WM specialty book, probably called “Releasing Habits” re: weight, or the like.  A general script for anything is the problem-seeking and solving script in Volume 3 of the Great Escapes series, or in the single-script listings, under a category that deals with seeking original sources of problems and releasing them.  After that, you pretty much can adapt any of the WM scripts for that particular issue. For yourself, you might find it helpful to put the “releasing habits” or “problem-solve” onto a recording, followed by something on weight mgmt that’s adapted to that problem, according to your own habits.
