Child Has Trouble Staying Focused

Could you please be so kind as to recommend a suitable script or CD for a 10 year old boy who has trouble staying focused and has no other learning disorder... I have had three sessions with a hypnotist thus far but what she has used is a "bystander" scenario where he is watching a play about a boy who has trouble concentrating. I found this approach too indirect and wondered what was better.
