Sleeping Through Noise

Question
Can hypnosis help me sleep easier? I have to wear earplugs every night when I go to bed. I need complete silence in order to sleep. I'm wondering if hypnosis could help me so I'd not have to wear earplugs nightly.

Answer
Hypnosis is exceptionally helpful in dealing with insomnia and other sleeping problems, so it should work well in helping you go to sleep more easily in the midst of noise. There are all kinds of reasons for sleep issues - as physical problem, hormonal imbalance, a child having been told something they may have misunderstood, being scared by a story, or a television program, or even the news. Something as dramatic as a death of someone which might make a person fearful of dying. Since death is often, erroneously, connected to sleep, there might be subconscious anxiety about this. I remember a client who had struggled with severe insomnia all her life. We discovered that a relative had told her, more than once, when putting her to bed, that the devil comes and gets you at night, so you have to be good. Imagine what that can do to your sleep habits! Since there are as many reasons for sleeping problems, as there are people with them, it can help to have a qualified hypnotherapist who specializes in going to the source of the problem and then releasing it.
