Nothing Helps Me SleepQuestion I’ve tried everything I can to solve my insomnia problem, even special “sleep programs,” but nothing has been successful long-term. I’m hoping hypnosis can help in some way. Answer I assume that you have had a physician check for any physical problems contributing to the insomnia. Hypnosis is very effective in getting to the root of the insomnia and making the kind of suggestions that will help you get to sleep more easily, and sleep comfortably through the night (or day, depending upon your schedule), without medications. A good hypnotherapist will teach techniques of self-hypnosis which can then be applied for sleeping, and for other times of needed relaxation. If there are emotional disturbances that are effecting sleep, then those can be handled, especially by a counselor who uses hypnotic techniques. |
