Hypnosis in the Midst of Noise?

Question
Are there any self-hypnosis tapes that help you to be able to go into self-hypnosis fast and easy, for use, say, in locations that are noisy and lots of commotion? Where a long introduction is not practical? In other words, a real quick and easy way to self-hypnotise when you feel the need for it, and when there is a lot of noise and commotion around? Where would I get such a tape?

Answer
I don't know of such a tape as you request, but I did have such an experience earlier in my life when I was very ill and trying to learn to meditate for the first time in my life. I finally wrote to a man whose relaxation tape had been helpful to me, asking him what to do about the unbearable traffic noise at the place I was staying. His suggestion - Why not allow the traffic noise to become the focus for your meditation. It worked! I wonder if it wouldn't also work in hypnosis by using such techniques as breathing and focusing on the noise, and then making self-suggestions that sounds inside and outside the building are helping you become more and more relaxed, each sound helping you go into a trance-state easily.
