Feeling Suicidal

Question
I'm feeling suicidal. Can hypnotherapy help me? I want to kill myself. I know that I need help but I don't know what to do. I just want it all to end. My family is in a mess. I've been using drugs to get away from my problems.

Answer
You are in a situation that will pass, but it's hard to see it now. You probably have a good reason to feel depressed, but you don't have to turn to the drugs for a solution. Drugs will only make you more depressed and miserable, sooner than later, and make it far more difficult to deal with your life at any significant level. You must get to a counselor right away, especially one who uses hypnosis to help you. Don't wait, please. You will find people in your own area who can work with you at whatever economic situation you find yourself, so don't give up. Get on the phone and start calling people--Use the yellow pages for hypnotherapists and find out who are also counselors. If that doesn't work go to counselors and find out who will handle your case and who uses hypnosis as well. The reason I suggest hypnosis or other such methods, is that they work with the deeper unhappiness and urges, and can bring a quicker solution for you. Also, you will find directories of qualified hypnotherapists by going to my web site (www.hypnocenter.com) links pages under resources and directories. These can be reached from the bottom of my HOME and ASK DEL pages. I do hope this helps you.
