Cry too Easily

Question

I'm a 56 y/o widowed female.  I'm a happy person yet I cry so easily.  In my early 20's doctors told me "oh you just wear your heart on your sleeve" and "don't worry, you'll never have an ulcer because you cry it  all out."  Well, I would like to stop but can't seem to accomplish it.  I guess what I'm asking is would I have to spend a fortune to find an answer, if there is one.  I appreciate your time in answering.  Thank you.

Answer

Thanks for writing. There probably IS a reason behind the crying.  I would first get your own mind (while you're hypnotized) to seek out what is causing the problem and change it.  This wouldn't require that either of us have to know the reasons.  The other way I would work, if that didn't do the trick, is to use regression to the place or time that caused it.  Then I would give positive suggestions to change that situation.  Depending upon how complex your issues are, it shouldn't take very long at all--usually takes no more than 2-3 sessions.  I require an interview/intake first, however.  This helps me know what we'll need to deal with and to figure out how best to help you.
