Can Hypnosis Stop My Panic Attacks?

Question
I have suddenly developed panic attacks and don't know what's causing them. Can hypnosis stop them?

Answer
It can be very distressing to a person who has generally been able to cope very well in life, to suddenly develop anxiety. Sometimes, guilt can develop over the fact that there is seemingly no reason for it. Sometimes these attacks can leave just as quickly as they came. Sometimes they hang on much longer than is bearable. Soon the person can become anxious over the potential panic attack itself. The entire body responds as if there were real danger -- yet there is none.

Hypnosis, and other altered-state methods, is very helpful in subduing and even ridding a person of anxiety, fear and panic through such tools as regression to the source, and suggestions that help one deal with what frightens them. It can uncover the causes and help that part of you which is so anxious to understand that there is nothing to fear.

It is important to find a good hypnotherapist who is qualified to go to the source of problems and help you release them. I've had many clients report to me a complete cessation of their panic after only a few sessions using hypnosis, such as this client:

"I am doing very well. I am no longer stressed about my work, and I have had no anxiety attacks at all since our sessions."
