Seven Year Old with Enuresis:

I had my first client. A little girl of seven with enuresis. 95% of the time this little girl wets the bed and sometimes during the day as well. She has had lots of personal problems and is now living with her aunt in a town near me. She has been shuffled around for the past three years. Her mother is an alcoholic and her father left years ago. Having taken a course here in Toronto with Barb Keshen, and having read your Great Escapes scripts I was prepared for anything. And I am glad I had chosen to use the Beach Ball Induction, thinking that coming from an island she would love beaches. When I asked her if she liked beaches she said, " No, I hate beaches." OK, onto induction number 2. She is a very bright little girl and got the pendulum moving quite easily. When we got down to the "story" she pulled up the foot stool for the hypnosis chair and laid down. So cute. I rolled up my sheepskin coat for a pillow and boy was she comfortable. She put her thumb in her mouth and settled in. She opened and closed her eyes a few times but I was nearly through the script when she said "Is this story almost over." I tried not to be offended. After all, she is only seven and she was the client. I finished up and we talked. I gave her a tape to listen to each night and she was quite excited to see her name on the tape in rainbow colours. She promised to listen every night. When I told her it may take a few visits for the condition to go away completely and to be patient and track her success she said "But maybe it will be sooner." I am fortunate to have my office attached to a lapidary, rock store. My clients can enter through the store so they can receive all kinds of good energy even before they get to me. I gave this little girl a stepping stone kit so she can make her own stepping stone for the garden. I told her it was because she was making quite a step in her own life. She liked that.
