Dizzy Spells

Question

Hi Del, I'm hoping you can help me. I have been suffering with dizzy spells for about 3 years now.  They started after I gave birth to my daughter. They affect my job and social life.

The doctors can't seem to find a problem to give me a solution. Some people think that it is panic attacks, because I perspire a lot, and I get really nervous when I have to do something alone. But even when I am home, when I feel safe and secure, I get these spells. I have been on pill after pill. I’m so frustrated !  Can you please think of a suggestion?

Answer

Thanks for writing about this problem. Panic attacks and other forms of anxiety can be helped a lot with hypnosis, especially if you find a qualified hypnotherapist who specializes in getting to the root of the problem.  For instance, there may have been something inadvertently said by one of the medical personnel when you were in labor that has been misinterpreted by your subconscious mind.  This is why its helpful to have a hypnotherapist who can use regression to that time, and release whatever negative imprint is there causing these experiences you're having. After the basic problem causing your dizzy symptoms is released, then positive suggestions can be given to alleviate the stress you are feeling.

If the dizziness is a symptom of anxiety related to having a child and concern for its care and future, then hypnosi can help you cope effectively.
