I am tired and depressed all the time. I can′t seem to get a decent night of sleep. People tell me to just get out more, or exercise, or give some other ?pull-yourself-up-by-your-own-bootstrap? advice. They simply do not understand what it is like to be unable to think or do anything. I despair of getting out of this. Can you help?

Chronic tiredness or illness can take its toll, not just on the body, but on the mind and spirit. Anxiety, discouragement, and depression are common consequences of lack of sleep, for instance.
